We were on our way back from paying for our puppy when I decided that I couldn't wait any long to give her the ring that I carried around for three months. When we first started dating I asked her where she thought would be a romantic place to be purposed to at. Her answer, " Olive Garden would be cool". With a smile and a chuckle I said, "well, okay".
This was NOT the place that I wanted to take her. I didn't think it was romantic enough for the one person that I love and was about to ask to marry me. BUT, on that Friday, I caved. I couldn't bare to keep that left finger that led to her heart to be naked any more.
So, we pulled up to the Olive Garden in Blacksburg. I asked for a section of the restaurant to be closed while I asked Jenna to marry me. To my surprise, they did.
We sat down, ordered, and after a quick gulp of beer I got down on one knee and popped the big question. "will you marry me?".
And her answer: :"YES!!"
